I know, I know...I've fallen off the face of the earth lately. My life seems to have taken on a life of it's own. Pure craziness of late. Not much time for stitching I'm afraid. My train hasn't been touched since my last post and I've been very slow in working on my RR piece.
I mentioned a while back that my niece was getting married in April and my nephew in May and that I planned on stitching stuff for them. I had started doing "Bride's Tree" ornaments for my nephew last year and started the M Designs "Celtic M" earlier this year for my niece. Well...they have both told their mother that they had rather have cash than something stitched. Oh, well. Luckily I haven't spent too much time on either thing. The ornaments I have stitched can be given as giftst to other people and I will just pull out what I have stitched thus far on the "Celtic M" and use the fabric for another project. I guess in some ways this is good with how little time I have had to work on things. I guess this will now allow me to devote time to other projects.
I want to say thanks to those that have sent me emails checking on me. Very sweet. :-)
Here is a project I finished last year (I think) and just had framed recently:
Name: Spring
Designer: Hob Nobb
Fabric: Miracle Mint 28 ct linen
Threads: various WDW and Sampler Threads
Will try to get some stitching done soon and get back to regular posting, but it may just be after the school year and tax season is over before I really have much time. Hope to hear from you guys.
Take care!

Your framed finish is just lovely! And framed so beautifully as well. Good thing they let you know about the stitchy gifts, before you got too far into them. Nice to see you post again.
That's really cute. I always like Hob Nobb designs.
I love your framed project! It looks gorgeous!
Love the piece you have done there! That is so cute!
Well, I have missed you!!! But I know you have a busy busy life. The Hob Nobb piece is a real spring picker-upper! Very cute.
I have to say, I think the kids were fairly rude to say they did not want something stitched...isn't it up to the giver what they will give. We all know that young people prefer cash, but I'm from the old school, I decide what I will give and to whom. (sorry, none of my business)
Your Hob Nobb piece is absolutely beautiful. The framing is just perfect!
How disappointing that someone would not want a stitched piece. It lasts much longer than the cash. Thank goodness not everyone is like that.
Hope to see you around again soon.
Lovely framed piece!!
Darling stitched piece, Jinger! I'm finally back online!! So, we can email. I love how you framed the little sampler, too.
Hugs, Deb
Framed piece is lovely! Hope you get a breather soon to get back to the things you really enjoy. Love the comment you left on my blog about a wet knot being harder to untie! :)
I love this! Adorable!!
Hob Nob is fabulous...you've obviously been busy even if not blogging!!

Love your framed piece, Hob Nobb is a new designer to me, will look out for them in future.
Hope you get a rest soon!
