A couple of new finishes!

It has been a LONG few weeks since my last post. Being out of town, hurricanes, computer problems at work, etc., etc., etc....

But, on the stitching front I have actually managed to accomplish 2 small finishes.

This first one I stitched for a friend for her new house. It is a freebie chart by Willows. Unfortunately, I cannot find the link on the internet anymore.

Willows freebie chart
Stitched on 28 ct. white evenweave
using Green Leaves Lt by Silk 'n Colors
Finished as Doorhanger

Here is the second piece I finished up this weekend:

Twilight freebie from Tanya of The Sampler Girl
Stitched over 1 on 28 ct. Smokey Pearl
GAST Midnight, Banker's Grey,
Daffodil and Pineapple Sherbet
WDW Squash
Finished as Pinkeep
I have actually stitched on my train the past couple of weekends and made a decent amount of headway. Promise to post updated pic next weekend.

These are beautiful! I think Tanya and Windy Willows have the best freebies!

Glad to hear you still are finding time to get some stitching done, that always seems to take stress away. Love the finishes, keep them coming!

I just love "Willow" and "Twilight" is poignant, too. You are some smokin' needles stitcher, Jinger! Where can I find the "Willow" freebie? Hugs, Deb

pretty finishes!! I love the doorhanger one especially - something about those primitive monotone ones that i really like.

p.s. thanks for visiting my blog and the warm welcome :-)
