Paying it Forward

I saw the idea of "Paying it Forward" on Million Stitches and liked the idea. I haven't completely decided what I am going to do, but am already mulling different ideas. Hmmmmmmm...what to do?

I started a new job this week. It come out of the blue (a friend of a friend is the owner) and it is very convenient to my son's school, but can I say already I hate it! I have realized already that I don't care for the owner of the business and I have been bored out of my mind. The only positive thing about it is that I will be working alone from now on (the owner won't be there) and when I am not busy she told me that I can sit and stitch or read or whatever. So, maybe I can get my train project finished by the time school is out. I will not be working there after that time. Hopefully it will go better than it has this past week.

Did not get any stitching done this week at all! :-( Oh, well. Hope to do better this week.

Hi Jinger, the paying forward is an interesting idea. I'm not sure if I would be up to the task. I am sorry you don't like your new job-how many hours do you work? Also, if I want to order anymore from Maggie-how would do that? Just call her? or do I go through you?

Know the "no stitching done week" but I've relaxed about the whole thing now. I stitch when I can :o)

I like the idea of paying it forward but also not sure if I'd be up to it.

It might take you some time to get used to the job, and most probably, to the customers. After a while, you will know if you like it or not. Being on your own this week will set you free and I'm sure you will prefer it that way.
Bon courage, as we say in France!
